The 2-S5 District Convention will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Caldwell Civic Center in Caldwell, TX. This year, College Station Noon Lion James Haverland will be seeking the office of 2nd Vice District Governor. College Station Noon is entitled to have 17 voting delegates at the Convention; however, everyone is invited to attend.
The convention starts with registration and breakfast at 8:00 AM and the convention begins promptly at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be served. The cost is $20 per Lion and College Station Noon will pay the registration fee for all members who attend the convention.
The final Cabinet Meeting of the club year will be on Friday, April 15, 2016, the night before the convention. Cost is $20 per person. The meeting begins at 6:00 PM with a social with dinner being served at 7:00 PM.
Both of these events are excellent opportunities to meet Lions from around the district and all members are invited to attend. Please let Lion Secretary Ralph Cruzan know if you plan to attend. The list of attendees is below.
Since this is a voting meeting, we must indicate which members are designated a voting members. Please check the list below. To be eligible to vote at the convention you must have been a Lion for at least one year and one day. If you are interested in voting, please let Lion Secretary Ralph know when you sign up. Also, if you plan to attend the Cabinet Meeting, let Lion Ralph know.

We will work out the logistics (where to meet, whose driving, etc.) as we get closer to the date of the convention.
