Service Activities
College Station Noon has a long history of service to the community.
- Assisted in Red Cross Blood Drives
- Co-developers of the Park for All in College Station Central park
- Collect and recycle eyeglasses
- Conduct annual July 4th fireworks, music, family activities, children games and attractions for over 50 years
- Conduct regular highway trash pick-up in conjunction with TXDOT program
- Conduct Vision Screenings
- Conducted Lions District essay writing competition for high school students
- Constructed first helicopter pad at Saint Joseph Hospital, Bryan
- Developed Lions park on University Drive, College Station
- Launched and supported Weiner Dog Races for Animal Shelter
- Participant in Brazos de dios
- Participate regularly in Texas Lions Camp work days (landscaping, paint, repair & cleanup)
- Preparing, cooking, serving and kitchen clean-up at the Texas Lions Camp
- Provide eye glasses for area school children in need
- Provide Hearing aids for children
- Provide scholarships for A & M Consolidated seniors
- Purchased 4H and FFA Youth Projects at Brazos County Youth Show
- Sponsor Boys and Girls Club
- Sponsor of PET (Personal Energy Transport) vehicle manufacturing and distribution
- Sponsored and established many new Lions Clubs
- Sponsored and established new Leo Clubs
- Sponsored carnival for A&M Consolidated school
- Sponsored many local children to attend the Lions Camp
- Support Health for All Clinic
- Support Lone Star Eye Bank; Provide corneal transplants
- Supported Lions International Foundation
- Supported and built homes for Habitat
- Supported battered women/abused children programs
- Supported Texas Lions Camp, Kerrville, TX for over 50 years

Leadership
College Station Noon has long been recognized for its leadership.
- The club has had six members elected to the position of District Governor. Five are still active members and one is deceased.
- Several members have served as elected Directors on the Texas Lions Camp board.
- The club has provided leadership for the Lone Star Eye Bank including a President and many Board members.
- College Station Noon Lions Club members have served the District in the following areas of leadership: Newsletter Editor, Zone Chair, Region Chair, Cabinet Secretary, Treasurer, Web Master, District Convention Chair, Mid-Winter Conference Chair, Lions Eyeglass Recycling Board of Directors, World Service for the Blind, and Leader Dog Chair.
- Club members have served the State in the following areas of leadership: State Convention Chair, State Public Relations and Newsletter Editor, State Convention Thursday Fun Night Chair, Golf Event Chair, Optional Events Chair and Audio/Visual Chair.
- Twenty-four (24) of the 65 Past Presidents are active in the club ranging from 48 years as a past president to our current Immediate Past President of one year.
- At least 8 College Station Noon Lions have served on either the Bryan City Council, College Station School Board, College Station City Council (including 2 Mayors).
